Maria brings a multidisciplinary background across digital health, medtech, and biotech, combining strong technical expertise with strategic business insight. She holds a PhD in bioinformatics and oncology from the Netherlands Cancer Institute and Leiden University. Maria has international experience spanning multiple European healthcare and innovation ecosystems.
Before joining Vi Partners, she advised global healthcare stakeholders at IQVIA on precision medicine and digital health strategy, with a focus on emerging technologies and early-stage company evaluation for strategic fit and partnership opportunities. Prior to that, she worked in the healthtech sector, contributing to product and data-tool development supporting translational research and data-driven care delivery.
With experience in scientific research, strategic consulting, and technology-focused environments, Maria is passionate about working alongside emerging companies that combine scientific excellence with a clear path to clinical and market impact.
