A Vi Partners Perspective. Why we invested in Airspeed?
June 2026 | Olivier Laplace | Vi Partners

At Vi Partners, we back companies with the ambition and capability to define a category. Airspeed is one of those companies.

Every business-to-business software company runs on what is known internally as a revenue organization: the sales teams, customer success teams, and executives responsible for winning new customers and growing existing relationships. They generate enormous volumes of conversation, context, and intent every day. Until now, almost all of it sat trapped in calls, emails, and notes, with the most valuable insights lost to manual follow-up or never captured at all.

Airspeed changes that. Led by Adam Liska and Devang Agrawal, both former Google DeepMind researchers, the team has rebuilt the execution layer of the revenue organization from first principles. Where existing tools observe what happened on a call, Airspeed acts on it: automatically updating customer records, running multi-step workflows, generating forecasts, and producing the kind of executive-level reporting a Chief Revenue Officer would normally compile by hand. A new category is taking shape around this idea, GTM execution, and Airspeed is writing its definition in real time.

What sets the product apart is the depth of its coaching layer. Airspeed studies every conversation, identifies what the best salespeople do differently, and turns those patterns into real-time guidance for the rest of the team. The effect is striking: average performers improve quickly, top performers are surfaced and rewarded faster, and management gains a clearer view of where to invest its time. Passive data becomes active leverage on commercial performance.

What convinced us most went beyond the architecture and the early traction: it was their customer empathy.

In two decades of investing, we have rarely encountered a product team this attuned to the people it builds for. Every interface decision reflects a genuine understanding of how salespeople sell, how managers coach, and how executives decide. The result is a product people genuinely enjoy using, something we hear consistently from customers: "best thing we brought into the company," "darling of the rev stack," "best friend of top performers," "would implement as table stakes in my next role." These are the words of users whose daily work has been transformed.

The market opportunity is equally compelling. Enterprise software has spent two decades building systems that record what happened. The next two decades will be defined by systems that execute what should happen next. That shift, from systems of record to systems of action, will reshape categories far larger than the one Airspeed serves today, and the team is exceptionally well positioned to lead it.

Backed by a world-class technical foundation and a founding team with the calibre to build for the long term, Airspeed represents the kind of conviction investment Vi Partners exists to make.

We are proud to back Adam, Devang, and the team as they build the GTM execution platform for the next era of enterprise software.
