Magdalena combines experience in healthcare investing across growth equity and early-stage venture capital with a background in biomedical sciences. She holds a PhD in Bioengineering from Imperial College London and an MSc in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine from University College London.
Before joining Vi Partners, Magdalena spent five years at MTIP, a Basel-based growth equity firm specializing in healthcare software, where she worked across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to executing investments and supporting portfolio companies through board-level involvement. Prior to that, she gained experience in early-stage digital health investing at Heal Capital, in technology commercialization at Imperial College London, and contributed to projects with the World Health Organization (WHO) as part of the Medical Devices team. Her connection to Switzerland began during a research internship at EPFL, where she first came to appreciate the strength of the Swiss science and innovation ecosystem.
At Vi Partners, Magdalena focuses on identifying and supporting healthcare companies that translate scientific and technological innovation into meaningful clinical and commercial impact.
